At LNB, we strive to go beyond the title of “Community Bank,” and make an active effort to serve as a community-minded bank. Supporting the community is second nature to us, and it’s part of what makes our culture so unique.
In 2015, LNB went above and beyond to make a difference in the 13 communities it serves across Cayuga, Ontario, Monroe, Seneca, Wayne and Yates Counties. Financial contributions were made to 345 separate local fundraisers and organizations, and LNB employees racked up a total of 16,315 of hours of volunteer work by year end.
An impressive 75% of LNB employees dedicated themselves to local causes in 2015. Not only did they participate in community service, but many took on leadership roles, as 7,855 hours were spent serving on local boards. These efforts were far reaching, affecting positive change on issues including conservation and entertainment, youth enrichment and education, religion, civic engagement, the arts as well as community health.
