LNB (Lyons National Bank) recently announced that Melonie Tiffany, Auditor and Banking Officer, received her certification as a Financial Services Auditor.

The Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) is a specialty certification for audit professionals offered through the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). The certification measures an individual’s knowledge of, and proficiency in, audit principles and practices within the banking, insurance, and securities financial services industries.

Tiffany joined LNB in 2007. In her role as auditor she coordinates and performs internal audits of bank policies, procedures and process to ensure compliance with related laws and regulations.

Tiffany also received her certification as a Community Bank Internal Auditor in 2009 from the ICBA (Independent Community Bankers of America).

Tiffany resides in Middlesex with her husband, Tony, and two children, Kelsey and Tyler.
