LNB Raises $1510 for American Heart Association
Lyons, New York
LNB (The Lyons National Bank) recently raised $1510 in support of the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day to raise awareness for heart disease among women.
Under the coordination of Assistant Vice President and Deposit Operations Supervisor, Cheryl Graham, 126 employees participated by wearing red on February 6th, raising $755, exceeding their goal by $110. The Bank then matched the funds, bringing their total donation to $1510.
Heart disease is the number 1 killer of women in America and is more deadly than all forms of cancer. Wear Red Day is an important part of the Go Red for Women goal to build awareness and urge women to take concrete actions to reduce their risk of heart disease. It’s also a very important way to raise crucial funds for research and education. This year marks the 12th Anniversary of National Wear Red Day.
